How to Check Your 2026 Washington WFTC Refund Status
- Go to dor.wa.gov — Working Families Tax Credit.
- Click on the Check Your Status option.
- Select tax year 2025.
- Enter your Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN).
- Enter your date of birth and the income you reported on Form 1040 for tax year 2025.
- Click Submit to view your current refund status.

- Direct deposit: Arrives on the same day the DOR releases it (fastest method)
