Who Was Eligible?
You were eligible if you:
- Purchased any Belkin-branded portable power bank (battery pack)
- Made the purchase while physically located in California
- The purchase occurred between January 2, 2016, and April 16, 2024
What Will You Receive?
- $5 voucher (automatic): Class members who received a settlement notice with a Unique ID/PIN and did NOT submit an exchange request by March 30 will automatically receive a $5 single-use voucher valid for one year on Belkin’s website (belkin.com). The voucher can be combined with sales but not other promo codes.
- $2 cash payment: Class members who submitted an exchange request (if they had a Unique ID) or a claim form (if they didn’t receive a notice) by March 30, 2026, will receive $2 via PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, or paper check.
- One claim per person regardless of how many power banks were purchased.
Additionally, as part of the settlement, Belkin agreed to update its product packaging to more accurately represent the actual usable power output of its power banks and to work with third-party retailers like Amazon to align their listings accordingly.
