Colgate-Palmolive voluntarily recalled several batches of its Fabuloso cleaning products on or around February 8, 2023, in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission, due to the production process not adding preservatives to the proper amounts.  

Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Pseudomonas fluorescens are two of the microorganisms that might thrive in recalled items if the preservative used is insufficient.  

These bacteria often have little effect on immune systems that are functioning normally in humans. According to this case, the defendant used dishonest and false business tactics in the production, promotion, and retail of Fabuloso cleaning goods. 

In addition to denying any obligation to the class representatives or any members of the putative classes the class representatives are attempting to represent in the actions, the defendant refutes the accusations made in the Patora Action, the Dorsey Action, and the Dixon Action.

The final approval hearing for the Colgate Palmolive Settlement is scheduled to take place at 10:00 a.m. on April 25, 2024. It will be held in Courtroom 620 at the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, located at 300 Quarropas St., White Plains, NY 10601-41501.
