SSI March 2026 Payment Date (Completed)
The SSA released the March 2026 SSI payment on Friday, February 27, 2026 — three days early — because March 1, 2026 fell on a Sunday and February 28, 2026 was a Saturday. By law, when the 1st of the month falls on a weekend or holiday, SSI payments are issued on the last prior business day.

- Paper check recipients received their checks within 3–5 business days after February 27, 2026.
March 2026 SSI Payment Amount
The March 2026 SSI payment was issued at the same rates as January and February 2026, reflecting the annual COLA adjustment. For 2026, the maximum federal SSI payment rates are:

- Couple: $1,450/month
- Essential person: $484/month
