Who Is Eligible?
You may file a claim if you:
- Are a U.S. resident who logged in to the FollowMyHealth patient portal or booked an appointment through the Northwell Health website between January 1, 2020, and December 31, 2023
- Received a notice from the Settlement Administrator (via email or mail) containing your Notice ID and PIN
Additionally, all Northwell Health patients between January 1, 2020, and July 25, 2024, are eligible for 12 months of free privacy monitoring services.
How Much Can You Get?
Cash payments are distributed on a pro-rata basis from the settlement fund. The estimated payout per class member is approximately $10–$20 depending on the total number of valid claims filed. The more claims filed, the smaller each individual payment; the fewer claims, the larger each payment.
In addition, eligible patients receive 12 months of privacy monitoring services at no cost.
