See Tickets has committed to create a Settlement Fund by cash payment of US $3,250,000 to the Settlement Administrator. Three kinds of prizes will be granted to a member of the Settlement Class who promptly files a valid and authorized Claim Form. Based on the documentation brought in, a member of the Settlement Class may be eligible for one or both awards:
Credit monitoring services or cash payments
Every Settlement Class member has the choice:
- Three years of three-bureau Credit Monitoring Services; alternatively
- After credit monitoring service payments and the following types of awards, a pro-rata alternative cash payment of up to $100 from the remaining Net Settlement Amount.
Reimbursement of Spending
Any Settlement Class member who spent money during the Data Security Incident and provides accurate evidence proving this is qualified for:
- Up to $2,000 in normal, documented out-of-pocket costs caused by the Data Security Incident. This includes bank fees (for example, card replacement and overdraft fees), interest on short-term loans, long-distance calls, cell phone charges (only if charged by the minute), data charges (only if charged based on the amount of data used), postage costs, or gas for local travel. It also includes the cost of credit reports, credit freezes, or credit monitoring that the Settlement Class member already bought in response to the Data Security Incident.
- Up to $5,000 in documented, out-of-the-ordinary costs incurred because of identity theft that the Data Security Incident most likely caused.
California Resident Benefit.
- Apart from the aforementioned advantages, under safeguards in California law, each member of a Settlement Class who resides in California is entitled to a $100 California Statutory Award.
How to Claim for See Tickets Data Breach Settlement?
Use these guidelines to assert reimbursement for the See Tickets Data Breach Settlement:
- Search See Tickets for an email or letter alert explaining your eligibility for the settlement.

If you live in the United States and your information was accessed in the Data Security Incident and you were notified of the Data Security Incident by See Tickets, you are a member of the Settlement Class.
Sometimes referred to as “opting out,” you will not be able to collect any benefits from this settlement or be paid under the Settlement Agreement if you choose to withdraw yourself from the Settlement Class. For the legal questions this action raises, you would retain the ability to sue See Tickets at your own cost, nonetheless.
You are automatically part of the settlement whether you want to opt-out. If you do nothing, you will forfeit your right to sue, therefore you will not be paid from this settlement or be involved in another action against the defendant on the settled legal claims.
