A class action lawsuit was filed against Legacy Health alleging that it shared patient details with third parties like Google and Meta without their consent. Basically, the company tracked patients through Meta Pixel and Google Analytics on its website without their permission.

Legacy Health has agreed to a settlement of $2.2 million to resolve this matter, and the company has also not admitted any wrongdoing. Currently, the settlement has received preliminary approval from the court, and further processing is underway.
The settlement will not only provide cash benefits to class members but will also provide free one-year CyEx Medical Shield Complete. To get these benefits, it is mandatory to file a claim form, whose deadline is March 16, 2026.
Who will get a payout from the Legacy Health Privacy Settlement?
Payouts from the Legacy Health Privacy Settlement will only be available to those who submit their claim form on or before the deadline. To submit it, you must meet the following requirements.

- You are a US resident and live in any state of the country.
- You created an account on the Legacy Health patient portal between February 18, 2019, and December 31, 2020, or logged in between January 1, 2021, and February 9, 2024.
- You have received a notice by email or postmark from the settlement administration regarding the Legacy Health Privacy Settlement, which contains your Unique ID and PIN.
How much will be received from the Legacy Health Privacy Settlement?
The Legacy Health Privacy Settlement has a total fund of $2.5 million, of which 33% will go towards attorney fees and administration costs, and the remaining amount will be distributed among class members who submitted their claim forms on or before the deadline. Payments will be $15 per claimant.
The publicly disclosed $15 payout from this settlement is an estimate; it could be reduced to $10 if the number of claim forms exceeds expectations. If the number of claim forms falls below expectations, the payment could increase to $20.
How to file a claim form for the Legacy Health Privacy Settlement?

- First, visit the settlement portal, whose URL is https://pixellegacyhealthsettlement.com/.
- On the home page, you will see a button to submit a claim. Click on it to reach the next page.
- Enter your unique ID and PIN, click on the submit button, and access the claim form dashboard.
- Enter all the asked details, select a payment method, and provide its relevant details.
- Finally, after reviewing all the details, click on the submit button to submit your claim form.
To submit the claim form offline with the help of postmarking, first download the PDF of the claim form, then print it on A4-size paper, fill in all the details in blue or black ink, put it in an envelope, and mail it to the following address:

When to expect the Legacy Health Privacy Settlement payout?
Information regarding when a payment for the $2.2 million Legacy Health Privacy Settlement will be disbursed will be made public by the settlement administrator very soon. You should know that payments will begin only after final approval.
A hearing for final approval will be held on April 16, 2026. Approval is likely to be received by mid-May 2026; if that happens, payment will be by the end of August 2026. If final approval is received with an appeal, payment may be delayed by six months.
