Who Qualifies?
You are eligible for this settlement if you:
- Purchased Tinder Plus or Tinder Gold in California
- Made the purchase on or after March 2, 2015, while over age 29, OR on or after March 2, 2016, while over age 28
- Received a settlement notice with a Claim ID and PIN — OR — did not receive a notice but believe you qualify (you can submit a verification form)
How Much Will You Receive?
Payments are distributed pro-rata based on the total amount each class member paid to Tinder for a subscription through September 30, 2025. The more you spent, the larger your share of the $60.5M fund. Estimated payments range from ~$100 to $500 depending on your subscription history and total claims filed.
What You Need to Do
- If you received a notice with a Claim ID and PIN: Visit the settlement website and select your preferred payment method (PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, ACH direct deposit, or check) by August 18, 2026. If you don’t select a method, you’ll automatically receive an electronic payment via the email address Tinder has on file.
- If you did NOT receive a notice: Submit a verification form online or by mail (with your driver’s license/passport and proof of subscription) by August 18, 2026.
- To opt out: Submit a written exclusion request postmarked by April 8, 2026.
