Service Canada is all set to release the payment for CDB, CPP, OAS, and VDP for March 2026 as per the schedule. Refer to the listed points to check when you get your payment.
- Canada Disability Benefit: March 19, 2026
- Canada Pension Plan & Old Age Security: March 17, 2026
- Veteran Disability Benefit: March 30, 2026
If you receive your payment by direct deposit through Canada Service, you will definitely receive it on the payment release day. If you receive it by paper check, you will have to wait for 2-3 working days.
What if the March 2026 payment isn’t received on time?
The Canada Disability Benefit, Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security, and Veteran Disability Pension payments are released by the Canada Service in a timely manner and are received within the due timeline.

Direct deposit receipts can take up to 72 hours if technical issues arise, and up to 7 days for paper checks if Canada Post is experiencing a high number of posts.
If you don’t receive a direct deposit within 3 days or a paper check within a week of payment release, you should first contact Canada Services to find out the reason.
If the issue is on their end, Canada Services will resolve it as quickly as possible, and you will receive your benefit payment. You may need to provide required documentation if the issue is related to your eligibility.

How much will be received in March 2026 from the CRA?
The CDB, CPP, OAS, and VDP payments you will receive from Canada Services in March 2026 will be the same as the February 2026 payment. As no changes have been announced to the payment rates, you can view the maximum payment rates for all benefits below.
- If you are a Canada Disability Benefit recipient, the maximum amount you can receive is $200 in March 2026.
- The Canada Pension Plan offers two types of benefits: retirement pension and disability benefit. If you receive a retirement benefit, the maximum you can receive is $1,560, and if you have a disability, $1,741 in March 2026.
- If you receive an Old Age Security benefit and are between 65 and 74, the maximum you can receive is $740, and if you are 75 or older, the maximum you can receive is $814 in March 2026.
- If you are a recipient of a Veteran Disability Pension, you should know that there is no fixed payment rate for it; it depends on disability severity percentage, type of award, and family status.
How to check the March 2026 payment status?
Canada Service does not provide a tool to check the status of various payments released. You can manually track your CDB, CPP, OAS, and VDP payments. Tracking depends on the payment gateway you receive your payout from.
If you receive payment through direct deposit, then in that case you will have to check your bank account frequently on the day of the payment release date, and if through paper check, then in this case you must check your mailbox a day or two after the payment release.
