Between May 13 and June 17, 2025, someone accessed the computer server of Landmark Admin and stole crucial information from customers—that includes full names, Social Security numbers, financial account information, health insurance data, addresses, phone numbers, and dates of birth.
Customers were informed about the data breach between 23 and 24 October 2025, and then a class action lawsuit was filed in the District Court for Dallas County, Texas, under case number DC-25-07674. After which, the Landmark Admin agreed to a settlement of $6 million without accepting any wrongdoing. It got the preliminary approval on August 8, 2025; the details for the same were announced on October 1, 2025.
