Check your IRS refund payment status at IRS.gov/refunds or via the IRS2Go app. Returns filed March 13–27 should receive deposits April 3–17. Paper checks are discontinued in 2026 — all refunds are via direct deposit. The filing deadline is April 15, 2026.
