Premier Nutrition Corp. has agreed for a $19.16 million settlement to resolve the class action lawsuit which was filed against them for falsely advertising Joint Juice products. Basically, they advertised that their Joint Juice products improve joint health, but the buyers didn’t find it as beneficial as claimed.
Many individuals in New York bought Joint Juice products just to improve their joint health, and they feel misled as it doesn’t work. The settlement fund is going to benefit all those who bought it during a certain period, around 33% of total fund is likely to go towards attorney fee and administration cost.
The settlement has already received the preliminary approval from the court and the claim form are made available, individuals who are among the class members i.e. those who meet the eligibility criteria may submit their claim form online via web-portal, or offline via postmarking, the due date for which is May 15, 2026.
NY Joint Juice Settlement Eligibility Criteria
In order to file a claim form for the New York Joint Juice Settlement, it is mandatory that you are a US citizen and reside in NY. Additionally, it is mandatory that you made a purchase between December 5, 2013, and December 28, 2021, for any of following products:
- Drops
- On the Go! powder mix stick packets (seven-pack or 30-pack)
- Easy shot liquid concentrate (1-liter bottle)
- Extra strength easy shot liquid concentrate (1-liter bottle)
- Ready-to-drink beverage bottles (six-pack or 30-pack)
- Extra strength ready-to-drink beverage bottles (six-pack or 24-pack)
Notes:
- Those who have received a notice via email or mail from the settlement administration will receive payment automatically based on the number of units specified in the notice. If you received a notice but the number of units is less than actual purchases, you can submit a claim form for additional.
- The direct payment, received without submitting a claim form, will be issued via paper check, but you can choose an electronic payment method such as direct deposit, PayPal, Venmo, etc, if you prefer.
- You can claim a maximum of six units of purchases without providing any proof of purchase. If you claim more than that, you will need to provide proof of purchase or a receipt.
- The deadline for opting out of this settlement, filing a separate case, and raising objections (i.e., expressing any opinions you have regarding the settlement) is April 6, 2026.
- The final hearing date for this settlement has been announced as April 30, 2026. On this day, the court will decide whether this settlement is fair to all parties involved, and the attorney fees and administrative costs will also be announced.
New York Joint Juice Settlement Payout Amount
The amount you receive from the New York Joint Juice False Advertising Settlement depends on the number of eligible Joint Juice products you purchased. If you claim without proof of purchase, you will be able to claim upto six units, meaning a maximum of $300.
For each unit purchased, you will receive a payment under the New York Joint Juice Settlement. If you have a higher number of units, the amount you receive will also be higher. For example, let’s say you purchased a total of 30 units; the payment you will receive will be $1500.
