How much will be distributed under Lansing Community College Settlement?

The total payout of this settlement is $1.45 million and this settlement amount will cover the expenses of attorney fees, legal costs, settlement representatives and will provide monetary benefits to class members.

The payout will only be provided to those who have filed timely claim forms until 30 December 2024, if the settlement is approved. The attorney fee will not be more than ⅓ of the total settlement fund and each class representative will be eligible to receive service awards up to $1,500.
