The Kaiser Privacy Breach Settlement has already received the preliminary approval from the court, and a fairness hearing is scheduled for May 7, 2026, on which date the court will decide if the proposed settlement is fair.

You may file a claim form for the Kaiser Privacy Breach Settlement if you belong to California, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Maryland, Oregon, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia, and you meet the following requirements:

- You accessed authenticated pages of the Kaiser Permanente website or mobile application between November 2017 and May 2024, and

How much will be received from the Kaiser Privacy Breach Settlement?
The amount you can get from the Kaiser Privacy Breach Settlement is likely to be between $20 and $40. Note that not all the fund of $46M or $47.5M will be distributed among the claimants; the distribution will take place after the following deductions:
- Attorneys’ Fees: Up to $15,675,000
- Litigation Costs: Up to $900,000
- Service Awards for Plaintiffs: Up to $40,000
- Administration Costs: $1.7M to $2.4M
