The CDCR has agreed to pay a maximum of $1,800,000.00 to settle the CDCR data class action lawsuit.
The Settlement Fund will be utilized to pay the settlement benefit amount to those who have identifiable and valid mailing addresses, attorneys’ fees and costs, and service awards of the class representatives, to pay the costs of notice and claims administration, and other court approved costs and expenses.

The CDCR Data Class Action Settlement per person payout amount is not disclosed by officials yet but it is expected that if you are eligible to get a Cash Payment then your settlement payout amount depends upon how many Settlement Class Members have filed valid claims.

The exact payout date of CDCR Data Class Action Settlement is not known yet but it is expected that after the final approval hearing that is continued to March 14, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. if the settlement becomes final then qualifying individuals will be able to receive their payout amount within a few weeks to months.
