  1. I am a veteran who was forced in to early retirement due to an injury. My monthly income is barely over $1800.00. Medication for chronic pain as well as lengthy, monthly commutes to the doctor consumes a large part of my income. The reality is, our state and federal government see no reason to help me financially.
