The province of Ontario provides people with Ontario Trillium benefits, which comprise three credits that lower the financial burden. This benefit provides financial relief to Ontarians who earn a low-to-moderate income via three credits: NOEC, OEPTC, and OSTC.
Many Ontarians receive this benefit based on their eligibility for the credits and get the support they need. The payout till June 2025 will be based on the 2024 benefit year, however, the payout will increase from July 2025 as the 2025 benefit year payout is boosted.
The Ontarians received the payment based on the credits they qualify for and which is divided by 12 to be sent each month; however, the residents can also choose to receive the one-off payment in July of each financial year, if it is more than $360.
