The biggest fighting game tournament in the world is called the Evolution Championship Series (EVO), and EVO 2023 is already shaping up to be one of the biggest and most exciting competitions yet. The competition will take place from August 4–6, 2023, at the Mandalay Bay Casino and Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. The EVO website still has tickets for EVO 2023 available for purchase.
EVO 2023 Schedule
The cost of a ticket ranges from $95 for a day pass to $1,425 for a three-day VIP pass, depending on the length of the pass. EVO 2023 Game Details
Here are some additional details about the EVO 2023:
- The pool play matches will be played in a double-elimination format.
- The top 32 and top 16 matches will be played in a single-elimination format.
- The top 8 matches will be played in a double-elimination format.
- The finals will be a best-of-five match.
EVO 2023 Day 1 Schedule
On Day 1 (August 4, 2023) of EVO 2023, the main stage will feature the EVO 2023 Industry Showcase from 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Later, from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM, the Mortal Kombat 11: Ultimate Top 6 will take place.
On Stage 2, the action starts at 10:30 AM with the Dragon Ball Fighter Z R1 Pools and continues until 3:30 PM. Then, at 4:30 PM, the Tekken 7 R1 Pools will kick off and run until 9:30 PM.
Stage 3 has the King of Fighter XV R1 Pools from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM, followed by the King of Fighter XV R2 Pools from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. The Pools, King of Fighters XV (24 to 6) will take place from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
Over at Stage 4, the Street Fighter 6 R1 Pools will be held from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM, and then again from 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
Stage 5 will host the Guilty Gear Strive R1 Pools from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM and later, from 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
Stage 6 will see action in Mortal Kombat 11 with R1 Pools starting at 10:30 AM and R2 Pools from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Mortal Kombat 11 (24 to 6) will happen from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, followed by Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
Lastly, on Stage 7, the Melty Blood Type Lumina R1 Pools will be held from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Then, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, the Melty Blood Type Lumina R2 Pools will take place, followed by the Pools, Melty Blood Type Lumina (24 to 6) from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
EVO 2023 Day 2 Schedule
Day 2 (August 5, 2023) features exciting matches with the Melty Blood Type Lumina Top 6 at 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM on the main stage. Next, the King of Fighters XV Top 6 will take the spotlight from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM, followed by the Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising Finals from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. The day wraps up with the Dragon Ball Fighter Z Top 6 from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM.
On Stage 2, the Tekken 7 R2 Pools will start at 10:30 AM and continue until 2:30 PM, and then again from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM. The Tekken 7 (24 to 6) will be held from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
Stage 3 will feature the Dragon Ball Fighter Z R1 Pools from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by the R2 Pools from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Later, the Dragon Ball Fighter Z (48 to 6) will happen from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
Moving on to Stage 4, the Street Fighter 6 R2 Pools will take place from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM, followed by R3 Pools from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, R4 Pools from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, and finally, the Street Fighter 6 (24 to 6) from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
Stage 5 will host the Guilty Gear Strive R2 Pools from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM, followed by R3 Pools from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM, and the Guilty Gear Strive (24 to 6) from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
Stage 6 has the Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 action, starting with R1 Pools from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM, followed by R2 Pools from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 (48-6) will conclude from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
On Stage 7, the Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising Open Beta Tournament will take place from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM, followed by Street Fighter 6 R3 Pools from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, R4 Pools from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, and finally, the Street Fighter 6 (24 to 6) from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM.

Day 3 (August 6, 2023) will have the ultimate showdowns on the main stage, with Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 Top 6 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, Tekken 7 Top 6 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM, Guilty Gear Strive Top 6 from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM, and Street Fighter 6 Top 6 from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
