  • Wait for 5 Working Days: Beneficiaries have to wait for 5 working days if they are facing minor delays in their monthly payments because sometimes due to the additional processings, payments are issued late.
  • Check My Account: Beneficiaries have to login to their CRA account to check for updates and notification.
  • Contact CRA: If you do not get your payment after 5 working days, then you can contact CRA online, through phone or by visiting the local office to know the reason for the delay.

Who is entitled to receive Canada Child Benefit Payment in 2025?

The following conditions must be met by interested families whether they are already on Canada Child Benefit or want to receive it.

  • The age of your child must be under 18 and the child for which you want to receive CCB payment must reside with you.
  • You must be the person who is responsible for their child’s care and upbringing because sharing custody can result in 50% benefit payment for each qualifying spouse.

How much Canada Child Benefit provides in 2025?

As per service Canada website, the CCB amount for each qualifying child under age 6 is $7,787 yearly which translates to a monthly payment of $648.91. For children under the age of 6 to 17, the CCB amount will be $6,570 per year and $547.50 per month. If your adjusted family net income will be over than $36,502 then you will see a reduction in your payment amount.

Children who qualify for child disability benefits can get up to $3,322 annually ($276.83 monthly) for each child. Families will see a reduction in their CDB benefit if their adjusted family net incomes are more than $79,087. Beneficiaries can receive their lump sum CCB total benefit amount payment with their July payment if their benefit amount is less than $240 for a year.
