A "licensed professional counselor supervisor" is a person engaged in the practice of counseling who holds a license as a licensed professional counselor and is approved by the Board to provide clinical supervision to LPCAs. The LPCS license is an independent, unrestricted license. This license supersedes the LPC license. Once approved for licensure the license number will be the same license number with an S at the beginning (Example: S000).
Applicants must complete all requirements before credential can be issued. (G.S. § 90-336 and Rule .0801)
